05-02-11 Lewd Conduct and Aggravated Assault arrests; weekend incident report

   Warrant Arrested: George L. Wilemon, 44, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Lewd Conduct with a Minor under 16 (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Lewd Conduct with a Minor Friday.

   The suspect was taken into custody Friday, April 29th, after a detailed investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct that reportedly took place in January of last year. The victim tells detectives the conduct took place in a Boise Bench home. The suspect is known to the victim. Detectives have no evidence that indicates other victims are involved. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant issued Thursday of last week. Further inquires into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office.

Arrested: Nashell D. Gabbert, 18, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Assault (F), Battery (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a hit and run at a residence in West Boise Friday, April 29th, at approximately 8:00 p.m. Multiple witnesses tell police the suspect became involved in an argument at the home. At one point, witnesses say the suspect struck the adult female victim in the face resulting in the battery charge. As the victims removed the suspect from the home they tell police the suspect made verbal threats. Witnesses say the suspect then got into her car and drove it directly into the front door of the home, colliding with the residence causing the door to swing violently and almost striking the victim. The suspect then backed out of the yard and fled the scene. The suspect was located a short time later still driving the vehicle and was taken into custody without further incident. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY18-905.Aggravated assault defined. An aggravated assault is an assault: (a) With a deadly weapon or instrument without intent to kill; or (b)  By any means or force likely to produce great bodily harm.

  Arrested: James L. Williams, 42, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a Burglary at a residence near Kootenai and Orchard Saturday, April 30th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Neighbors tell police they witnessed the suspect kick open the door of a neighbors home and take a small dog. The suspect then fled on foot, attempting to hide the dog under a jacket. Officers located the suspect a short distance on a bicycle and recovered the dog. During the course of the investigation officers determined the suspect had been involved in an ongoing dispute with the residents of the home. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Joshua T. Campbell, 29, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

    Arrested: Tommy A. Hull, 38, Boise

    Charges:Public Urination (m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Littering in a Public Place (m)

  Boise Police on patrol in the area of Santa Paula Drive and Shaw Mountain Drive observed a vehicle parked on the side of the road Saturday evening, April 30th, at approximately 11:40 p.m. Officers could see one suspect behind the wheel with the engine running and one man urinating on the ground. Officers observed open containers of alcohol in the vehicle and on the roadside that had been discarded by the suspects. The driver, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .13/.14 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the driver of the vehicle had 3 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. During a search of the passenger, officers located a pipe containing marijuana residue resulting in the paraphernalia charge. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
