Boise Police responded to a report of a purse theft at a restaurant on the 300 block of North Milwaukee yesterday, April 27th, at approximately 6:00 p.m. The adult female victim told officers she was following two suspects who had taken her purse from the restaurant when she was away from her table. Officers stopped the suspects as they entered a vehicle in a nearby parking lot. As officers made contact with the suspects a Boise Police K-9 named Blek alerted on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed 3 glass pipes and a plastic baggie containing approximately .7 grams total package weight of meth. During the course of the investigation Sarah Tucker continually ignored officers commands to stop placing phone calls on a cell phone, delaying the investigation and resulting in the resisting and obstructing charge. The stolen purse was recovered from the vehicle containing the victims credit cards and other items. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
