Felony Injury to a Child charges; Daily incident report

 Warrant Arrested: Tony A. McPherson, 29, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Injury to a Child (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Injury to a Child yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an injury to a child in the suspect's custody at the time, sustained on April 11th of this year.  Evidence indicates the suspect caused the non-life threatening injury to the child, who is under one year of age, and failed to get the child medical assistance. The incident took place at a Northend Boise home. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquires should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's office.

 Arrested: Jaime J. Nelson, 20, Meridian

  Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (prescription Medications)(F), Petit Theft (m), Providing False Information (m), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

  Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 300 block of north Milwaukee yesterday, April 19th, at approximately 9:00 p.m. Store employees tell police they witnessed the suspect conceal items of clothing and then leave the store without paying for them. The suspect was detained and the items were recovered. While in custody, the suspect repeatedly provided false identifying information to officers. A search of the suspects person revealed a baggie containing a small amount of meth, a glass pipe containing meth residue and prescription medications. When officers attempted to take the suspect to a waiting patrol car the suspect became combative, kicking and struggling to get away, resulting in the resisting and obstructing charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Warrant Arrested: James L. Grinstead II

  Warrant Charges:Criminal Possession of a Financial Transaction Card (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Criminal Possession of a Financial Transaction Card yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a stolen credit card. Evidence indicates the suspect used the stolen credit card in June of last year to apply for a line of credit at a local retail store. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
