03-17-11 Sexual Assault Suspect - Sketch
Boise, March 17, 2011 -Boise Police are
releasing a sketch of a suspect in a sexual assault reported to
have occurred in Winstead Park in July of 2009 in hopes the new
information will help detectives find the suspect(s).
What Happened:Early in the morning of July 15,
2009, Boise Police received a call from an adult female who
reported she had been sexually assaulted a short time earlier in
the parking lot of Winstead Park, 6150 W. Northview Street. The
victim told a detective the assault took place the morning of July
15th between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. The suspect in the composite sketch
is one of three men who reportedly played a part in the assault.
The crime has remained under investigation; however the sketch and
detailed suspect description are new. Detectives are searching for
additional information from the public to help solve this
Suspect description (composite sketch):The
suspect in the composite sketch was a passenger in the pick-up.
He is described as a light skinned white male adult with
brown curly hair, approximately 6 feet tall or taller, 200 plus
pounds, soft / flabby belly, young looking.
Suspect #2:The driver was described as a white
male adult, late 50's, 5'3, 175, bulky build forehead (large).
Suspect #3:The Passenger was described as a
white male adult, late 40's, 5'8, 200, medium build, skinny arms,
beer gut (large gut), dark curly hair with a beard (salt and pepper
Suspect's Vehicle:At the time of the incident,
the suspects were driving a mid-80's full size Ford pick-up.
The paint was two tones, blue (oxidized) with a silver
stripe. It also had an off-white camper shell with a light
blue carpet kit inside the bed of the truck.
Suspect's Dog:The suspects also had with them,
a medium sized black and white Border collie dog with black hair
covering one eye, white hair covering the other eye.
