Officers arrest wanted subject in Possession of Meth; weekend incident report

03-21-11 Officers arrest wanted subject in Possession of Meth; weekend incident report

  Arrested: Sean C. Manees, 29, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Probation Violation charges

    Boise Police located a wanted suspect in a vehicle on the 5000 block of West Morris Hill Sunday, March 20th, at approximately 12:53 p.m. The suspect, wanted on Probation Violation charges, was seen moving items around in the vehicle as officers issued him commands. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 0.5 ounces of Meth. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Arrested: Geni G. Gerlach, 32, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Assault (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a problem subject at a residence on the 3700 block of Kootenai Friday evening, March 18th, at approximately 9:30 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect, later identified as Geni Gerlach, became involved in a physical fight with the adult female victim who is an acquaintance. At one point during the fight, witnesses say the suspect shoved the victim down a set of stairs. The cause of the altercation is unclear at this time. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Charges:Burglary (F), Probation Violation charges

 Arrested: Elizabeth A. Wylie, 22, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F), Probation Violation charges

 Arrested: Dustin J. Salkeild, 23, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F), Probation Violation charges

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 400 block of Milwaukee Friday, March 18th, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspects conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Employees also have evidence that the suspects had returned stolen items to the store to obtain gift cards on a previous date.  Officers believe the suspects entered the store with the intent to commit the thefts resulting in the burglary charges. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 400 block of Milwaukee Saturday, March 19th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft, resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
