 Warrant Arrested: William L. Wallace, 73, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Lewd Conduct with a Minor (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Lewd Conduct with a Minor yesterday.

   Boise Police arrested the suspect yesterday, March 22, after a detailed investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct that reportedly took place in August of last year. The incident was reported to Boise Police a week later. The victim, a juvenile female under the age of 10, tells detectives the conduct took place in a west Boise residence. The suspect is well known to the victim. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. The investigation into this case continues. No further information is available at this time. Further inquires into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office.

  Arrested: Daniel S. Damico, 25, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), Grand Theft (F), Fraudulent Use of a Financial Transaction Card (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a stolen wallet taken from a store employee on the 9200 block of Fairview yesterday, March 22nd, at approximately 3:00 p.m. The victim tells police the suspect entered the store and filled out a job application. During that process, evidence indicates the suspect stole a wallet that had been left in a desk drawer. The suspect then used a credit card from the wallet to purchase items at two nearby stores. Officers located the suspect at one of the stores and he was taken into custody after a detailed investigation. Using information obtained during the investigation officers recovered the wallet and its contents that had been discarded nearby. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Transfered to Ada County: James W. Schmidt, 51, Spokane WA.

  Warrant Charges:Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult (F)

    The suspect was transferred to the Ada County jail on an outstanding warrant for Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult after facing charges in Washington and other states yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from funds stolen from an elderly victim's bank account in 2008. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
