Officers make arrest in Aggravated Battery case; Daily incident report

02-23-11 Officers make arrest in Aggravated Battery case; Daily incident report

Warrant Arrested: Joshua H. John Forest, 28, Meridian

  Warrant Charges: Aggravated Battery (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Battery yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a fight that took place on May 8th of last year in Ann Morrison Park. Evidence indicates the suspect was one of 3 males who battered the victim in front of multiple witnesses. The victim suffered multiple abrasions and damage to his teeth. The reason for the attack is unclear. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

This arrest comes as part of an ongoing investigation into the incident. Richard Morris, 22 of Boise was warrant arrested on the same charge on February 17th of this year in connection with this case. A third suspect, Alekcel Panlouchkine, 34, currently has an outstanding warrant for his arrest in connection with this incident.
