Boise Police patrol officers observed a vehicle cross the fog line 3 times as it travelled southbound on Five Mile near Franklin early this morning, February 14th, at approximately 3:00 a.m. Officers contacted the driver and determined she did not have a current drivers license. A check through Ada County records indicated the vehicle had been reported stolen from a parking lot near Five Mile and Overland on February 11th.     Boise Police on patrol observed a vehicle perform an illegal stop at the Franklin and Curtis intersection early Sunday morning, February 13th, just after midnight. The vehicle failed to stop before the stop line and came to a rest inside the crosswalk. As officers contacted the driver they noted the distinct odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A Boise Police K-9 "Ruwa" alerted on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of marijuana in a jacket on the front seat. Officers then discovered, hidden under the stick shift lever, two plastic baggies containing approximately 143 blue pills that tested positive to be ecstacy. Because of the large number of pills all three suspects were charged with delivery. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Joseph M. Guerra, 18, Emmett

Warrant Charges: Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into possession of approximately 5 baggies of marijuana with a combined total package weight of 25 grams discovered by Boise officers during an investigation into a car crash on November 19th of last year. The suspect was a driver of one of the three vehicles involved in the crash. Officers also discovered evidence to indicate the suspect had offered the controlled substance for sale. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

Arrested: Daniel R. Grams, 46, transient

Charges: Arson 3rd Degree (F), Public Urination (m)

Boise Police responded to a shrub on fire at Americana and Latah Saturday afternoon, February 12th, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Boise Firefighters had just extinguished the fire. When officers arrived, they found the suspect on scene. The suspect appeared very intoxicated and two 24 ounce beer cans were sitting next to the suspect. After questioning the suspect, officers found evidence he had lit the fire using matches and a few pages from a book. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges. He was also cited for public urination that had apparently just occurred at the same location just prior to the officer's arrival.
