Officers arrest suspect on Sexual Exploitation warrant; Overnight incident report

02-18-11 Officers arrest suspect on Sexual Exploitation warrant; Overnight incident report

Warrant Arrested: Cole L. Easter, 25, Boise

  Warrant Charges:Sexual Exploitation of a Child (F), Battery (m)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Sexual Exploitation and misdemeanor Battery yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation that began in July of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the unwanted physical touching of an adult female acquaintance at a Boise home, resulting in the battery charge. As Detectives investigated that incident, they discovered illegal images of underage children on a computer at the suspects residence, resulting in the exploitation charge. At this time there is no evidence that the images depict local victims. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
