Boise Police responded to a citizen report of two men attempting to break into a vehicle with a rock and wearing dark clothing on the 200 block of South Ruby Street early this morning, February 25th, just after midnight. The citizen provided officers with a description and direction of travel. Officers located Nelson Hooper and Terrance Wagnon in Ann Morrison Park minutes later and determined they had been involved. During the course of the investigation officers received information about a third suspect, later identified as Zachary Staats, that officers took into custody at a home on the 1100 block of Capital Blvd a short time later. After a detailed investigation all three suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Robert D. Boyd, 58, Boise

  Warrant Charges:Lewd Conduct with a Minor (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Lewd Conduct with a Minor yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into inappropriate contact with a minor under 10 that took place at a Boise home starting in 2008. Evidence indicates the conduct took place on more than one occasion and the suspect is well known to the victim. The conduct was reported to police on December 8th of last year. Detectives have no evidence that other victims are involved in this case. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
