Boise Police had been working with Ada County deputies in the search for a wanted suspect at a residence on the 4800 block of Blaser Circle yesterday, January 25th, at approximately 11:00 p.m. Officers received consent to search the home from the resident, Patrick Green. Officers recovered approximately one gram total package weight of Meth, 34 grams of marijuana, various items of drug paraphernalia and packaging materials. Officers also located a plastic bottle containing what appeared to be gun powder with a fuse fashioned into the cap, resulting in the explosives charge. Boise Police bomb squad specialists responded to the home and removed the explosive device for safe disposal. Officers have no evidence that the device was part of any threat or specific plan. Officers have evidence that drugs had been offered for sale at the home. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges. Two additional suspects were cited for frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold and released.
