Boise Police responded to a collision at
State and Willow last night, January 26th, at approximately 6:30
p.m. Victims tell police a small passenger car was westbound on
Willow street when a large truck rear-ended the car, causing major
damage. The suspect vehicle then fled the scene of the collision.
An adult female passenger in the victim's vehicle was transported
to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening
injuries at the time.
A short time later a Boise Police
officer observed a vehicle that matched the suspect vehicle
description east of Pierce Park on State street and conducted a
traffic stop. Officers determined the truck had been involved in
the collision and a check through Ada County dispatch indicated the
suspect was currently suspended from driving. The suspect failed to
provide proof of insurance. The suspect was transported to the Ada
County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

Charges: Burglary (F)
Boise Police arrested Sean Stuard
yesterday, January 26th, after a detailed investigation into a
residential burglary that took place on January 25th of this year.
On that date, Boise Police responded to a report of a burglary at a
West Boise home. Victims tell police the suspect stole a video game
console and other personal items. The stolen items were located
yesterday after having been sold to a local merchant and officers
determined the suspect, who is known to the victims, had sold the
items. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and
booked on the above listed charges.
