Felony DUI and Video Voyeurism charges; Weekend incident report

    Arrested: Heidi N. Landon, 36, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Leaving the Scene of an Accident (m), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m)

  Boise Police responded to a report of a collision at Cole and Spectrum Friday, January 28th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect was driving erratically, swerving in and out of traffic and using the wrong side of the road before swerving at the victims vehicle. As the victim attempted to get out of the way, the suspect vehicle struck the victims rear bumper. The witness tells police the suspect vehicle then ran a red light and stalling in the middle of the road. As the victim approached the suspect, he tells officers the suspect started the car and drove away. Using suspect information provided by the victim, the suspect was located at a residence on the 5500 block of Flamingo. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .26/.26 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was also suspended from driving. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Daniel G, Mannlein, 45, Meridian

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Parole Violation charges

  Boise Police observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane by crossing lane dividers and nearly striking the curb as it travelled North on Cole from Franklin Friday, January 28th at approximately 9:30 p.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .10/.10 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Chris J, Mclellen, 31, Boise

   Warrant Charges:Video Voyeurism (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Video Voyeurism Friday January 28th.

   Boise Police arrested the suspect after a detailed investigation into allegations of distributing images of sexual materials without the victims permission or consent. The incident was reported to Boise Police on November 15th of last year when the adult victim, who is known to the suspect, reported to officers the suspect posted videos and photos of an intimate nature on several websites at the end of last year without the victims consent. Officers have no reason at this time to believe other victims are involved. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 66 SEX CRIMES18-6609.Crime of video voyeurism.(2)  A person is guilty of video voyeurism when, with the intent of arousing, appealing to or gratifying the lust or passions or sexual desires of such person or another person, or for his own or another person's lascivious entertainment or satisfaction of prurient interest, or for the purpose of sexually degrading or abusing any other person:(b)  He intentionally disseminates, publishes or sells any image or images of the intimate areas of another person or persons without the consent of such other person or persons and with knowledge that such image or images were obtained with the intent set forth above. (3)  A violation of this section is a felony.

 Arrested: Samuel D. Vanmaanen, 28, Caldwell

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Probation Violation Charges

    Boise Police contacted the suspect on behalf of Idaho Probation and Parole agents at a hotel on the 1100 block of North 28th early this morning, January 31st, at approximately 2:00 a.m. As officers entered the hotel room they witnessed the suspect drop a baggie containing approximately 3.7 grams of marijuana on the floor in plain view. A search of the suspect's person revealed another baggie containing a small amount of Meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

 Arrested: Nathan N. Rideb, 50, Boise

   Charges:Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m)

    Boise Police received information that indicated the suspect was selling marijuana near 16th and River streets. Following up on this information officers made contact with the suspect on the 1600 block of River street Friday evening, January 28th, at approximately 9:30 p.m. Officers recovered two baggies containing 3.5 grams of marijuana from the suspect's person. Officers have evidence the suspect had been offering the controlled substance for sale. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Joshua R. Roher, 18, Boise

   Charges: Grand Theft (F)

    Boise Police arrested Joshua Roher Friday evening after a detailed investigation into the theft of jewelry from a home in west Boise on January 23rd of this year. On that date, the victims tell police the suspect had attended a party at the home. After a detailed investigation the suspect was taken into custody Friday. Many of the stolen items were recovered. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Jessica L. Mcnamara, 18, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

  Arrested: Nelson L. Hooper, 18, Nampa

   Charges: Burglary (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a vehicle burglary in progress at a residence in the area of 13th and Grand Friday evening, January 28th, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Witnesses tell police they saw two suspects enter a parked vehicle and take items from inside before walking away. Officers located the suspects walking near 13th and Myrtle. The jacket that the suspects had taken from the vehicle was recovered around the corner from the burglary location where the suspects had discarded it. A search of Jessica Mcnamara's person revealed one ounce of Marijuana and a pipe. A search of Nelson Hooper revealed a glass pipe with marijuana residue. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
