Burglar caught in the act; Weekend incident report

01-10-11 Burglar caught in the act; Weekend incident report

  Arrested: Mark A. Black, 19, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F),

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight in front of a residence near Hill Road and Castle Drive early Sunday morning, January 9th, at approximately 3:00 a.m. The victim tells police he heard a car door shut outside the home. The victim says he saw the suspect going through his vehicle and confronted him. At one point, the victim wrestled the suspect to the ground and held him down while another witness called police. Officers recovered personal items from the suspect's person that had been taken from the vehicle. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Guadalupe Serrano, 31, Nampa

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m), Warrant charges from Canyon County

    Boise Police on patrol Sunday afternoon, December 9th, at approximately 1:00 p.m. observed a vehicle with expired registration and conducted a traffic stop near Pierce Park and State streets. A check through Ada County dispatch indicated the suspect had a warrant for his arrest out of Canyon County and was currently suspended from driving. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a baggie containing a small amount of meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Warrant Arrested: Brittney E. Fulkerson, 21, Meridian

   Warrant Charges:Probation Violation charges (F)

  Arrested: Ryan T. Greer, 22, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(F)

    Boise Police served an arrest warrant for Brittney Fulkerson at a hotel on the 7400 block of Overland early this morning, January 10th, at approximately 5:00 a.m. As part of that investigation officers conducted a pat search of Ryan Greer, who was in the company of the wanted suspect. Officers recovered a prescription medication that the suspect did not have a prescription for.The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

 Warrant Arrested: Joseph P. Geary, 26, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Malicious Injury to Property (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Malicious Injury to Property Friday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into damage done to the victim's vehicle on September 19th of last year. On that date witnesses tell police they watched the suspect scratch the victim's vehicle paint from the front to the rear of the truck. Witnesses also say the suspect broke a flag hanging off the suspects window causing a small dent in the vehicle.  That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Arrested: Markus R. Archuleta, 34, Caldwell 

  Charges:Burglary (F)

  Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 400 block of North Milwaukee Friday, January 7th, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal several video games and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers located the suspect a short time later and recovered the items. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  The Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.
