  Arrested: Luisa M. Lamonthe, 27, Oakland CA.

   Charges: Attempted Grand Theft (F), Fraudulent Use of a Financial Transaction Card (F)

  Arrested: Janelyn M. Dasig, 26, San Francisco CA.

   Charges:2 counts of Grand Theft (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fraud in progress at a bank on the 4500 block of North Eagle yesterday, January 13th, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Officers located the two suspects in the immediate vicinity of the bank and took them into custody. Bank employees tell police the two suspects had been involved in attempting to access a customers account using false identification. Bank employees recognized the information was false and called police. At the time of arrest Luisa Lamonthe had a fraudulent credit card in her possession. Boise Police Detectives later determined the suspects had been involved in thefts at other bank branches in Boise starting on January 11th. The loss of funds is estimated to be in the thousands. Further charges are likely. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m)

  Warrant Arrested: Jerry J. Lefevre, 29, Caldwell

   Warrant Charges:Probation Violation charges (m)

    Boise Police on patrol observed a vehicle speeding at Vista and Overland last night, January 13th, at approximately 10:30 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop. A check through Ada County Dispatch confirmed that the passenger, Jerry Lefevre had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of meth and approximately 4 grams total package weight of marijuana. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Warrant Arrested: Erin M. Slaughter, 30, Boise

   Warrant Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F)

   The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from a traffic stop that took place on July 26th of last year. On that date the suspect was found to be in possession of approximately 5 grams of Meth. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

  Arrested: Robert A. Smotherman, 23, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a residence in West Boise yesterday, January 13th, at approximately noon. The victim tells police that an acquaintance had stolen his computer from his room overnight. Officers located the suspect and, after a detailed investigation, he was taken into custody for the theft. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
