  Arrested: Randy L. Gibson, 29, Boise

   Charges:Injury to a Child (F), Violation of a No Contact Order (m)

  Arrested: Jaala H. Bement, 31, Boise

   Charges:Injury to a Child (F), 6 Failure to Appear warrants (m)

    Boise Police conducted a welfare check at a home in East Boise last night, December 7th at approximately 6:30 p.m. Officers made contact with Randy Gibson, who was in violation of a no contact order imposed by the court. In the home police located a small amount of meth and drug paraphernalia in plain sight, within reach of a child under the age of five. A check through Ada County dispatch indicated Jaala Bement had several failure to appear warrants for her arrest. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges. The child was turned over to the custody of the State Department of Health and Welfare. 

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 15 CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS18-1501.Injury to children. (1) Any person who, under circumstances or conditions likely to produce great bodily harm or death, willfully causes or permits such child to be placed in such situation that its person or health is endangered is guilty of a felony.

  Arrested: Michael D. Anderson, 21, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Providing False Information (m), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Failure to Appear Warrant

    Boise Police on patrol observed a vehicle with a broken tail light early this morning, December 8th, at approximately 2:30 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop at Federal Way and Victory. An adult male passenger provided false identifying information. Officers asked the man to exit the vehicle while they verified his identity. The suspect got out of the pickup and began running away. Officers repeatedly ordered the suspect to stop as he fled the scene. The man seemed to be holding something in his waistband as he ran from police, who suspected it could be a weapon. Officers deployed a Taser and the suspect was taken into custody. Boise Police determined the suspect's true identity and a check through Ada County dispatch indicated he had a current warrant for his arrest. A search of the vehicle revealed two baggies containing a small amount of meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Nathan D. Segal, 39, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Parole Violation Charges

    Boise Police on patrol observed a vehicle fail to stop for a stop sign yesterday evening, December 7th, at approximately 11:00 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near Emerald and Roosevelt. Officers contacted the driver and determined he had a current warrant for probation violation charges. A search of the suspect's person revealed two baggies containing a small amount of meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
