Lewd Conduct Warrant arrest; Weekend incident report

   Warrant Arrested: Carlos A. Ayala, 30, Boise

   Warrant Charges:Lewd Conduct with a Minor (F)

   The suspect was booked into jail early this morning, December 20th, after a detailed investigation into allegations of sexual contact with a juvenile female that reportedly took place in June of this year. The incident was reported to Boise Police on June 20th of this year. The victim, a female under the age of 12, tells detectives the conduct took place at a West Boise home. The suspect is well known to the victim and officers have no reason at this time to believe other victims are involved. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. No further information is available. Further inquires into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office.

  Arrested: David M. Erickson, 25, Boise

   Charges: Battery on an Officer (F), Battery (m), Resisting and Obstructing (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight in the lobby of a hotel on the 3300 block of South Vista Friday, December 17th, at approximately 11:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police that two men had been fighting before leaving the hotel on foot. Officers located both suspects in the parking lot. As officers attempted to investigate the incident one suspect, later identified as David Erickson, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, refused to follow instructions given by officers. The suspect became physically combative and at one point, struck an officer in the chest. During the struggle, the suspect began tearing off his shirt and reaching into his waste band. Officers, concerned the suspect may be trying to access a weapon deployed a Taser. The suspect was then taken into custody. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Michael W. Foster, 18, Boise

    Charges:Battery on an Officer (F), Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(m), Assault on Certain Personnel (Firefighter)(m)

  Boise Police responded to an injury crash at McMillan and Five Mile Sunday, December 19th, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Officers saw the suspect, who was still in his vehicle, strike a Boise Firefighter who was trying to help him. The suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated at the time, also struck officers who attempted to help the firefighter. The man was eventually transported to a local hospital for treatment. A blood draw was conducted for later evidentiary testing. The suspect was later booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Shane C. Weimer, 38, no known address

    Charges:Fleeing and Evading (F), Intimidation or Threats on a States Witness (F), Leaving the Scene of an Accident (m), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(m), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m),

  Boise Police observed a vehicle traveling westbound on State, fail to maintain its lane late Friday evening, December 17th, at approximately 11:30 p.m. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle the driver failed to negotiate a turn, driving into the muddy parking lot and over a curb. The suspect vehicle over corrected, went over another curb, ran a stop sign and almost struck a parked car. The vehicle continued eastbound on North Lakeharbor Lane, ran another stop sign and went over another curb, then slammed through a fence before coming to a stop. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, exited the vehicle and began running away on foot. Officers chased the suspect down on foot and took him into custody. A blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. As officers conducted the investigation the suspect made several threats against officers and their families. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect was currently suspended. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

 Arrested: Chelsea D. Johnson, 26, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 400 block of North Milwaukee Friday, December 17th, at approximately 6:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.

 Arrested: Brian P. O'Rourke, 23, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 1200 block of North Milwaukee Sunday, December 19th, at approximately 12:30 p.m. Store employees tell police that the suspect, an employee at the time, had been taking items from the store and returning them to obtain cash. Officers believe the suspect would enter the stores with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Arrested: Santiago E. Padilla, 57, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8200 block of West Fairview Sunday, December 19th, at approximately 6:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
