Boise Police responded to a report of a fight with a gun at an apartment complex on the 5600 block of Marvin Lane early this morning, December 28th, at approximately 1:00 a.m. Multiple witnesses tell police an argument had taken place in an apartment and the suspect was heard making threatening statements indicating he had a gun, as he got into a car. As officers arrived on scene, one officer blocked the driveway to the apartments. A vehicle, driven by the juvenile male suspect, drove directly at the officer, forcing him to jump out of the way or be hit. Officers attempted to stop the car, which fled westbound on Overland, then southbound on Curtis before going westbound on Randolph. Officers estimated the suspect reached speeds of 75 miles per hour in a residential neighborhood during the pursuit. The juvenile suspect lost control of his vehicle and spun out at Cameron and Randolph. He then accelerated his vehicle directly at a pursuing officers car, drove across a victims yard and struck a telephone pole. The juvenile suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated at the time, was taken into custody. At the jail, the juvenile male kicked officers and continued to physically fight as they attempted to process him for DUI. A blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. Officers recovered alcohol from the suspect's vehicle. Officers did not locate a firearm. The suspect was booked on the above listed charges.
