11-26-10 Threats with a knife lead to Aggravated Assault charges; Overnight incident report

  Arrested: Tyler W. Hebdon, 25, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Assault (F),

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight at a residence near Orchard and Overland last night (November 25th) at approximately 8:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect, who is known to the victim, pushed his way into the home and began arguing. At one point, witnesses tell officers the suspect threatened the victim, an adult male, with a large kitchen knife. After wrestling the knife away from the suspect a physical fight took place. The suspect then fled the scene. Officers located the suspect a short time later in a vehicle. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY 18-905.Aggravated assault defined. An aggravated assault is an assault:
(a)  With a deadly weapon or instrument without intent to kill; or (b)  By any means or force likely to produce great bodily harm.

 Arrested: Levi L. Jones, 19, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a convenience store on the 5700 block of West Overland on November 22nd. On that date employees tell police the suspect walked out of the store with a 30 pack of beer when the clerk wasn't watching. Officers later identified the suspect and after a detailed investigation the he was arrested at a Boise bench home yesterday (November 25th) Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
