Boise, Nov. 7, 2010 - Boise Police are investigating two retail store robberies that happened this morning. Officers are seeking the help of anyone who may have information on the suspect or may have witnessed the crimes.

What Happened:Boise Police were called to the Albertson's store at Eagle and McMillan at 11:25 am after witnesses reported a man had walked up to the customer service counter and demanded money. Witnesses say the man threatened violence but did not display a weapon. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At 11:59 am Boise Police were called to another retail store, the Fred Meyer on the 5200 blk of W. Franklin where witnesses described the same suspect who again walked up to the store's customer service counter and demanded cash from employees. Again, witnesses say the man threatened violence but did not display a weapon. Again, the suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers responded to each call quickly but were not able to locate the suspect. Witnesses were not able to provide officers with a suspect vehicle description. Boise Police have alerted all other local law enforcement agencies as to what's happened and to be on the watch for someone matching this description.

Witnesses from both robberies say the suspect also had a visible tattoo on his neck. He wore a grey hoodie with the hood up and a beanie underneath. The grey hoodie had writing printed on it. The suspect also wore tan or green khaki pants.
