Arrested: John S. Gable III, 27, Boise
Charges: Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver - marijuana (F), DUI (m)

    A Boise Police  patrol officer driving east on State St. near 24th at approx. 2:19 a.m. this morning saw a blue Dodge Neon headed west swerve into oncoming traffic. While the officer was turning around, he saw the car again swerving out of its lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and immediately smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver, later identified as Gable. The suspect failed field sobriety tests and blew a .097/.098 on the Intoxylizer at the Ada County jail.

    Officers searched Gable subsequent to arrest and found a large plastic baggie inside his shirt pocket. The large baggie contained 16 smaller baggies, each containing a green leafy substance determined to be marijuana packaged for sale. The total package weight of the marijuana was approx. 3.5 grams. Officers booked the suspect into the Ada County Jail on the above charges.

Arrested: Kevin M. Hall, 41, Nampa
Charge: Felony DUI

    Boise Police were called by a resident of a neighborhood near S. Curtis and W. Overland roads at approx. 5:45 p.m. The resident called police concerned about an unknown vehicle, and SUV that had been parked near their home for several hours. Officers arrived and found the suspect, Hall in the drivers seat. Officer could smell the odor of alcohol. Hall also showed signs he had been drinking. The officer warned Hall not to drive the vehicle due to his apparent intoxication, and the fact he had a suspected driver's license after two previous DUI convictions. Officers advised him if he tried to drive the vehicle, he would placed under arrest and taken to jail. As the officers began to walk away, they heard an engine start, looked at the SUV and saw that Hall had started the car. Hall subsequently failed field sobriety tests and was booked into the Ada County jail on felony DUI.

    Hall blew .426/.423 on the Intoxylizer at the Ada County jail.  Due to his intoxication level, officers took Hall to St. Alphonsus Hospital for medical clearance. Hall was then booked into the Ada County jail on the above charge.

Arrested: Dustin L. Pattan, 22, Meridian
Charges: Parole Agents (F) Warrant, Escape (F)  ISC 18-2505.  ESCAPE BY ONE CHARGED WITH, CONVICTED OF, OR ON PROBATION FOR A FELONY

    Boise Police were called at noon Monday to assist probation and parole agents at an address of Fairview Ave. The agents were taking Pattan into custody for an apparent parole violation when the suspect ran. Parole agents were able to quickly catch up with Pattan. Boise Police assisted with booking the suspect into the Ada County Jail on the above charges.
