Boise Police observed what appeared to be a drug transaction yesterday afternoon (October 6th) in a parking lot on the 300 block of North Milwaukee at approximately 4:30 p.m. Officers who made contact with the occupants of both vehicles discovered approximately 4 grams of  marijuana in one vehicle and more than 30 fraudulent credit cards in both vehicles. Officers also recovered more than a thousand dollars in gift cards that detectives believe had been purchased with the fake credit cards. Boise Police Detectives believe the suspects travelled to Boise with the intent to defraud local businesses. After a detailed investigation, the suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

Boise Police Narcotics Detectives, working with the BANDIT task force, served a warrant at a home on the 5600 block of Saddle street yesterday (October 5th) at approximately 8:30 p.m. Officers discovered marijuana  plants growing inside the residence and inside an attached garage. The Task Force includes Detectives from the Boise Police Department, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agency and the Idaho National Guard, working as part of a multi-jurisdictional task force called B.A.N.D.I.T.  Warrant Arrested: Donald D. Chambliss, 46, Boise

Warrant Charges: Lewd Conduct with a Minor (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant Lewd Conduct with a Minor yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into conduct that took place more than ten years ago when the male victim was a juvenile. The suspect is well known to the suspect and detectives do not have evidence that other victims are involved at this time. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

--------

Warrant Arrested: Kristi L. Hurles, 44, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into funds taken from a local business when the suspect was an employee. Evidence indicates the suspect deposited more than a thousand dollars in checks into her personal bank account instead of the business. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

--------

Arrested: Starla G. Taylor, 46, Jerome

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

Boise Police observed a vehicle fail to stop before entering two intersections when stopping and cross the double yellow line early this morning (October 7th) at approximately 3:00 a.m. Officers stopped the driver at 18th and Bannock. The suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and a blood sample was obtained for later evidentiary testing.
