Arrested: Adrian J. Gogue, 20, Mountain Home

    Charge:Solicitation of a Minor (F)

    Friday evening (October 15th) at approximately 11:30 p.m. Boise Police Detectives took the suspect into custody at a parking lot near Chinden and Eagle. The arrest is the result of an ICAC investigation that began when another law enforcement agency contacted Boise Police on October 14th with information indicating the suspect had been involved in soliciting a teenage male in a sex for pay proposition via text messaging. The suspect and victim are known to each other. A relative of the teen victim called law enforcement about the contact between the victim and suspect, initiating the investigation. The suspect, Adrian Gogue, was taken into custody at the location police say the suspect believed he was going to meet the victim after he travelled from Mountain Home. The suspect was booked into the Ada County jail on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 - CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS- CHAPTER 56 18-5609.Inducing person under eighteen years of age into prostitution - Penalties. Every person who induces or attempts to induce a person under the age of eighteen (18) years to engage in prostitution shall be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment in the state penitentiary for a period of not less than two (2) years, which may be extended to life imprisonment, or by a fine not exceeding fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), or by both such fine and imprisonment.

  Arrested: Tyler J. Tidwell, 18, Boise

   Charges:5 counts of Grand Theft (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Encouraging Violations of Juvenile Corrections (m)

    Boise Police responded to a citizen call of a suspicious vehicle late Sunday night (October 17th) at approximately 11:50 p.m. in a neighborhood southeast of Five Mile and Interstate 84. Officers made contact with two occupants of the vehicle and determined one occupant, a juvenile male, was a confirmed runaway. Officers received consent to search the vehicle and recovered a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Officers also found wallets including multiple identifications and credit cards. Officers investigated and found the items had been stolen in a series of car burglaries that had happened in the same area the previous two nights. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Zechariah R. Zeigler, 27, Boise

    Charges:Battery on an Officer (F), Battery (m), Resisting and Obstructing (m)

  Boise Police responded to a report of a battery Saturday evening (October 16th) at approximately 11:50 p.m. at a bar on the 600 block of Main Street. The victim, an employee of the bar, tells police the suspect struck him in the face resulting in the battery charge. As officer approached the suspect he ran on foot. When officers caught the suspect at 6th street he shoved the pursuing officer and struggled to get away. At one point the officer deployed his Taser to gain control of the suspect. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Jeremy M. Porter, 21, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m), Providing False Information (m)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle fail to maintain its lane, make an illegal turn and fail to signal early Sunday morning (October 17th) at approximately 2:30 a.m.. Officers stopped the driver at Federal Way and Bass. The suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated at the time, provided false identifying information to officers. The suspect failed several field sobriety tests and officers located a valid ID. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had two prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony and the suspect was currently suspended from driving. A blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Jerry D. Elisondo, 36, Parma

    Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(F)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle fail to properly signal a lane change early this morning (October 18th) at approximately 2:00 a.m. Officers stopped the driver at Fairview and Shamrock. Officers observed the suspect hiding his hands in his pockets and refused to show his hands to officers. A search of the suspect revealed prescription pain killers that did not belong to him. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Kristen L. Kenyon, 36, Cour D' Alene 

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m), Open Container (m)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle perform an illegal lane change and fail to maintain its lane early Saturday morning (October 16th) just after midnight. Officers stopped the driver at Vista and Targee. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .15/.14 at the Ada County Jail.. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had two prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony, was currently suspended from driving and was carrying an open beer can in the car. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Ory L. Hansen, 23, Reno NV

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m), No Proof of Insurance (m)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle driving the wrong way on a one way street early Sunday morning (October 17th) at approximately 3:00 a.m. Officers stopped the driver at 13th and Main. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .14/.14 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had two prior convictions out of Nevada for DUI making this charge a felony. Records indicate the suspect was also currently suspended from driving and failed to provide proof of insurance. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Bernard C. Ackerman, 57, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F), 

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 1600 block of West State Friday (October 15th) at approximately 8:00 a.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal alcohol and then leave the store without paying. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect had been trespassed from the store on numerous prior occasions resulting in the Trespassing charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 300 block of North Milwaukee Saturday (October 16th) at approximately 5:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal clothing items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
