  Warrant Arrested: Mackenzie O. Keegan, 25, Boise

    Warrant Charge:Sexual Exploitation of a Child ISC 18-1507

    Boise Police Detectives working with information received through the ICAC Task Force conducted a search of the suspect's computer on September 14th of this year. Detectives located illegal images that appear to have been downloaded form the internet. After a detailed investigation, that investigative information was turned over to the Ada County Prosecuting attorneys office and resulted in the felony warrant. At this time, detectives have no evidence that any of the images found on the suspects computers were generated locally. 

Boise Police urge citizens who may have information about the sexual exploitation of children to report the crime through:

  • their local police department.
  • Crime Stoppers
  • Idaho Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).

The ICAC Task Forceis a statewide coalition of local, state and federal law enforcement and prosecution agencies, including officers with the Boise Police Department, focused on apprehending and prosecuting individuals who use the Internet to criminally exploit children. Internet crimes against children are, primarily, crimes of sexual exploitation of children. These crimes include distribution of child pornography and using the Internet to target children for sexual abuse.

  Arrested: Robert J. Miller, 31, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Assault (F)

    Boise Police responded to a disturbance at a home on the 2700 block of North Arthur Street yesterday (October 20th) at approximately 6:00 p.m. Multiple witnesses tell officers the suspect was involved in an argument with a prior resident, who was there to retrieve belongings. At one point, witnesses tell police the suspect retrieved a shotgun and made verbal threats, resulting in the Aggravated Assault charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Warrant Arrested: Whitnee D. Ward, 22, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Forgery (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Forgery yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into stolen checks used cashed at local stores for money. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in forging the checks to obtain more than $500.00 in cash starting in May of this year. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
