Boise, Sept. 6, 2010, 11:00 p.m. - Boise Police are investigating after a man reports being robbed by three men after he responded to an ad off Craigslist.

What Happened:Boise Police were called tonight at 9:28 p.m. by a man who says he was robbed when he showed up to buy an iPad that was listed for sale on the Internet site Criaglist. The Nampa man tells officers he had been communicating with the "seller" via e-mail for the past couple days when he was asked to show up tonight with several hundred dollars cash to buy the iPad. The victim says he was asked to meet the seller on the street on Lakeharbor Ln just off the 5000 blk of W. State Street near an apartment complex.

Officers are told by the victim that he arrived at the agreed upon location and parked and soon saw a young man walk toward him. The victim says when the man got a few feet away, two other men quickly showed up behind the first, both carrying handguns. The three men demanded the victim's cash and his cell phone. The victim says he last saw the men run toward the apartment complex.

The area where the crime reportedly occurred is very dark and dimly lit. The victim was able to get to a nearby business to call police.

Suspect descriptions:The first suspect (the young man who first walked up to the victim) is described as a light-skinned, young looking male who appeared to be in his late teens or early 20's, 5'6" - 5'7" tall, medium build, no facial hair, wearing a black hoodie.

The other two suspects are also described as light-skinned, young-looking males who appeared to be in their late teens or early 20's. They both appeared taller than the first suspect, 5'8" - 5'10" tall with grey scarves oves.
