09-16-10 3 Injured in Table Rock Crash; Drug House Busted; Daily Incident Release

Boise , Sept. 16, 2010 - Boise Police say evidence shows alcohol may be involved in a crash that injured three young men on E. Table Rock Rd early this morning.

What Happened: Boise Police were called at 2:11 a.m. this morning by a person claiming to be a witness to the crash. He reported a Honda Civic with 3 people inside had gone off the roadway and rolled approx. 150 yards down the hill. The incident occurred on E. Table Rock Rd where jersey barriers line sharp curves in the road, below the upper gate that blocks the roadway.

When officers arrived, they fuond the car and saw several beer cans around the vehicle. Officers also found the three young men who had apparently been inside the vehicle when it went off the roadway; the 18 year old driver from Meridian, and two passengers, a 19 year old from Yakima, WA, and a 20 year old from Boise. All three had gotten out of the vehicle when officers arrived and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. At this point, no charges have been filed, but officers are investigating whether the 18 year old driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
