---------

Arrested: Raymond S. Nienburg, 48, Boise

Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m), Resisting and Obstructing (m), Failure to Appear and Probation Violation charges

Boise Police received a citizen call of a possible drunk driver yesterday (September 1st) near Maple Grove and Ustick at approximately 11:30 p.m.. Officers located the vehicle and a check through Ada County dispatch confirmed it had cancelled registration. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop as the vehicle travelled Westbound on Ustick. The driver pulled into the driveway of his home near the corner of Ustick and Kimball road. The suspect immediately exited the vehicle, ignoring police commands to stop and began running toward the back of the property. Officers caught the suspect as he attempted to jump a gate, taking him to the ground. The suspect continued to resist officers as they handcuffed him. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, blew a .24/.23   at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had a prior Felony DUI conviction making this charge a felony. Ada County records also indicated the suspect had a suspended drivers license and outstanding warrants for Failure to Appear. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Probation Violation charges

Boise Police received a request for assistance from Idaho Probation and Parole agents at a business on the 1200 block of West Bannock yesterday (September 1st) at approximately 7:00 p.m. The suspect was arrested on a probation violation warrant and a search of her person revealed a baggy containing a small amount of Meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

----------

Warrant Arrested: Jose E. Brunet, 22, Caldwell

Warrant Charges: Grand Theft by Possession (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into stolen checks taken from a home on the 3000 block of Betsy Ross lane in March of this year.  Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in passing the checks at a local business to obtain cash. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
