   Arrested: Britian L. Barr, 22, Meridian

   Charges:11 counts of Possession of Sexually Exploitive Materials (F)

   Boise Police arrested the suspect yesterday (August 25th) at approximately 6:00 p.m. after serving a search warrant at his residence on the 2500 block of Hungry Creek in Meridian. The search warrant comes after Boise Police received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children task force indicating illegal materials had been downloaded at the address. Officers recovered numerous photos depicting illegal activity from computers at the residence. Officers do not believe any of the victims depicted in the material are local. The investigation into this case continues. No further information is available.

  Arrested: Andrew R. Hensley, 30, Boise

   Charges: Battery (m), Intimidation of a States Witness (F), Trespassing (m), Malicious Injury to Property (m)

    Boise Police responded to a fight at a residence on the 3300 block of north Lakeharbor last night (August 25th) at approximately 9:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect was at the residence looking for  someone when an argument took place. At one point, the suspect pushed an adult female to the ground. Officers believe alcohol was a factor in this incident. The suspect was then taken into custody on a battery charge and transported to the Ada County jail. The suspect was told not to attempt to contact the victim or go to the address where the battery had taken place.

    Boise Police responded to a burglary in progress call at the same address just after midnight (August 26th). Victims tell police they witnessed the suspect break a window and enter the residence where he had first been arrested on the battery charge. Victims tell police the suspect had a gun when he broke into the home. Officers located the suspect at his nearby residence and he was taken into custody. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Brandon C. Tyler, 25, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F),

    Boise Police responded to an alarm at a business on the 5700 block of west State early this morning (August 26th) at approximately 2:00 a.m. Officers found the suspect just in front of a broken window that led into the business. Drawers had been gone through and file cabinets had been pried open during the burglary. Officers recovered a block of stamps from the suspect's pocket that victims tell police had been taken from inside the business. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Ricardo T. Coppi, 20, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Providing False Information (m), Grand Theft Warrant Charge (F)

Boise Police on patrol yesterday afternoon (August 25th) at approximately 3:00 p.m. observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn as it traveled from 36th onto State street. The suspect, later identified as Ricardo Coppi, provided false identifying information to officers. Boise Police determined the suspects real identity and determined he had a current arrest warrant for Grand Theft. As the suspect was taken into custody a glass pipe containing marijuana residue and a plastic container with approximately 6 grams of marijuana was recovered from the suspect's person. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

 Warrant Arrested: Scherri K. Swegle, 23, Kuna

  Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into items stolen while the suspect was working as an in home care giver. Evidence indicates the suspect stole cash and other items from the victim's home some time in June of this year. The value of the cash and items taken is estimated to be more than $2,000.00 That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
