  Arrested: Nicholas V. Campbell, 21, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Battery (m)

    Boise Police responded to a fight at a home on the 1500 block of South Biggs Friday (August 20th) at approximately 9:00 p.m. Victims tell police a total stranger walked into their back yard, began making accusations and behaving aggressively. The victim tells police that he told the stranger to leave and they both walked to the front yard. The suspect then punched the victim in the face. Witnesses say the victim was on the ground when the suspect kicked him. The suspect was taken into custody for battery. A search incident to that arrest revealed less than one gram total package weight of Meth resulting in the possession charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Charges:Assault (m), Parole Violation Charges

   Arrested: Ashley J. Buchanan, 21, Boise

    Charges:Resisting and Obstructing (m)

    Boise Police responded to a fight in a parking lot on the 1500 block of North Liberty Sunday (August 22nd) at approximately 1:00 a.m. Witnesses tell police that two groups of people began to argue. At one point victims tell police Erich Moore grabbed a victim by the face before producing a large knife and chasing him into the street, resulting in the Aggravated Assault and battery charges. Officers located the knife at the scene. Witnesses say that Lucas Holbrook approached victims in an aggressive manner with his fists in the air and made verbal threats, resulting in the assault charge. As officers investigated the complex incident, Ashley Buchanan refused to obey officers instructions to stay off of her cell phone. All three suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Amanda J. Klahr, 31, Boise

   Charges: Injury to a Child (F)

    Boise Police responded to a welfare check at a retail store near Overland and Cloverdale Saturday (August 21st) at approximately 8:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect, who had a small child under the age of 2 with her, asked to use a man's cell phone. The man tells police the woman appeared to be in distress and he handed the phone to her. The woman then took the phone and began walking away. The man says he yelled at her to give his phone back and the suspect threw the phone over her shoulder in the man's direction. Witnesses say the woman then got into an SUV that stopped in the street, pausing traffic momentarily. Witnesses tell police the SUV travelled through the Cloverdale and Overland intersection before the door opened and the suspect jumped out of the moving SUV with the child in her arm. Citizens tell police the suspect then walked up to the locked doors of a business and banged on them. A witness approached the woman in an attempt to help her. He tells police the suspect yelled at him to stay away from her and appeared to be very disoriented. Eventually the suspect entered a nearby business, went into a private office and stayed there with the child until police arrived. The suspect was transported to a local hospital where a blood sample was taken for later evidentiary testing. The child was turned over to the custody of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. After being cleared by the hospital, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 15 CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS 18-1501.Injury to children. (1) Any person who, under circumstances or conditions likely to produce great bodily harm or death, willfully causes or permits any child to suffer, or inflicts thereon unjustifiable physical pain or mental suffering, or having the care or custody of any child, willfully causes or permits the person or health of such child to be injured, or willfully causes or permits such child to be placed in such situation that its person or health is endangered, is punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one (1) year, or in the state prison for not less than one (1) year nor more than ten (10) years.

   Arrested: Alanzo T. Peery, 45, Boise

    Charges:Aggravated Assault (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight that had taken place Saturday morning (August 21st) at a home on the 10,000 block of west Garverdale street. The victim tells police the suspect used a golf club, swinging it in his direction and making verbal threats, before the victim retreated out of the home. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Kristina M. Menjivar, 22, Boise

   Charges:Trafficking of a Controlled Substance (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Probation Violation Charges  

  Arrested: Robert H. Button, 23, Boise

   Charges: Delivery of a Controlled Substance (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police responded to a request for assistance at a home on the 4500 block of west Alamosa from Idaho State Probation and Parole agents Friday afternoon (August 20th) at approximately 3:00 p.m. A search of the home revealed 13 bindles of Meth with a total package weight of .6 grams, a small amount of Cocaine and 1.1 ounces of marijuana. Officers also recovered packaging materials and scales. Officers have undisclosed evidence that the drugs had been offered for sale at the home. The suspects were transported to the Ada County jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Arrested: Kim A. Willey, 25, McCall

  Charges:Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Petit Theft (m)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8100 block of West Franklin Saturday (August 21st) at approximately 2:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. A search of the suspect's person revealed a glass smoking pipe, a canister with 9 grams total package weight of marijuana and 29.9 grams total package weight of Meth. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Tina Y. Flores, 38, Boise

    Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a suspect huffing on an aerosol can at a home on the 8200 block of west Fairview Saturday afternoon (August 21st) at approximately 3:00 p.m. Officers located the suspect at the home and located three containers and other paraphernalia with Meth residue on them. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Jose L. Leija III, 19, Nampa 

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a Burglary on the 1800 block of north Cole Saturday (August 21st) at approximately 2:00 p.m. The victim tells police that one man distracted her by asking her if she wanted to purchase magazines while a second stole her purse that was located near the door of her home. When she confronted the men they took off on foot. The purse was recovered and the suspect was identified as one of the men who had participated in the crime. The investigation into this incident continues. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Arrested: Peggy S. Williams, 45, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8500 block of West Fairview Saturday (August 21st) at approximately 9:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.

 Warrant Arrested: Tyler S. Delbosque, 20, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Rape (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Rape yesterday.

 The suspect was taken into custody Sunday (August 22nd) after a detailed investigation into allegations of Rape that reportedly took place in April of this year. The incidents were reported to Boise Police on June 25th. The victim, a juvenile female under the age of 14, tells detectives the conduct took place at a North Boise home. The suspect is known to the victim and officers have no evidence at this time to indicate other victims are involved. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
