  Arrested: Rebekah A. Lachapelle, 21, Boise

   Charges: Injury to a Child (F)

    Boise Police responded to a request for a welfare check at a home on the 2400 block of south Shoshone early this morning (August 25th) at approximately 3:00 a.m. Officers who entered the trailer found the door unlocked and located a small child under the age of 3 alone at the residence alone. The suspect was located a short time later at a home in the same neighborhood and appeared to be very intoxicated at the time. The child was turned over to the custody of the Idaho State Department of Health and Welfare. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 15 CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS 18-1501.Injury to children. (1) Any person who, under circumstances or conditions likely to produce great bodily harm or death, willfully causes or permits any child to suffer, or inflicts thereon unjustifiable physical pain or mental suffering, or having the care or custody of any child, willfully causes or permits the person or health of such child to be injured, or willfully causes or permits such child to be placed in such situation that its person or health is endangered, is punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one (1) year, or in the state prison for not less than one (1) year nor more than ten (10) years.

  Arrested: Blaine A. Lamberson, 18, Nampa

   Charges: Burglary (F),

    Boise Police responded to a report of a vehicle burglary on the 4000 block of South Rimview early yesterday morning (August 24th) at approximately 3:00 a.m. Victims tell police they were awakened up by a car alarm and saw a man standing next to their vehicle with the door open. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and the victim was able to get a description of the car and a license plate. Boise Police located the vehicle on I-84 and conducted a traffic stop. After a detailed investigation, the suspect was arrested for burglary in connection with the theft of personal items from the victim's vehicle. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Jerry D. Owens, 34, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody yesterday after a detailed investigation into the theft of a bicycle from a retail store that took place on July 10th of this year from a retail store on the 200 block of east Front street. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the crime. No further information is available at this time. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Warrant Arrested: Spencer A. Ball, 19, Meridian

  Warrant Charges: Burglary (F), Failure to Appear charges

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into two burglaries that took place in June of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the crimes that took place at a utility trailer and a parked vehicle. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
