08-27-10 Failure to Register Sex Offender charge; overnight Felony arrest of note

Arrested: Layne B. Rudolph, 45, Boise

Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(m), Sex Offender Failure to Register Change of Address (F)

Boise Police observed a vehicle weaving in and out of its lane late last night (August 26th) at approximately 9:00 p.m. Officers stopped the driver at Cory Lane and Maple Grove. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .24/.25 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect, as a registered sex offender, had failed to notify law enforcement of his change of address as required by law. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
