  Arrested: Sherri L. Lake, 49, Boise

   Charges: Grand Theft (F), Leaving the Scene of an Accident (m)

    Boise Police responded to a disturbance at a restaurant Saturday (August 7th) at approximately 9:30 a.m. on the 1700 block of South Cole. Witnesses say the suspect, later identified as Sherri Lake, ordered a meal and then left without paying for it. Witnesses provided officers with a good description of the suspect and the vehicle. Soon after, officers received another report of a disturbance at a convenience store on the 2700 block of south Orchard. Employees tell police the suspect entered the store and selected beer and cigars. Witnesses say she left the store without paying for the items. As a citywide area search began, a report of a woman stealing sunglasses from another convenience store on the 10,000 block of west State was received. All three incidents took place in less than one hours time. A short time later, officers received a report of a hit and run vehicle collision that took place on Poplar street involving the suspects vehicle. The suspect vehicle was located a short time later on Ballantyne street with the suspect behind the wheel. Officers recovered the beer, cigars and sunglasses. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges. Additional charges my be levied, the investigation into this incident is ongoing. 

Idaho State Criminal Code 18-2407. (1)  Grand theft. 9. (b)  A person is guilty of grand theft when he commits a theft as defined in this chapter and when: The property has an aggregate value over fifty dollars ($50.00) and is stolen during three (3) or more incidents of theft during a criminal episode. For purposes of this subparagraph a "criminal episode" shall mean a series of unlawful acts committed over a period of up to three (3) days

    Arrested: Tyler W. Hattabaugh, 24, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Grand Theft (F), Resisting or Obstructing (m), Leaving the Scene of an Accident (m), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle without tail lights Saturday (August 7th) at approximately 8:00 p.m. Officers attempted to stop the driver at Idaho and north 5th street. The suspect turned into an alley, slowed down and jumped out of the moving vehicle. The vehicle collided with a telephone pole as the suspect fled on foot. Officers located the suspect on foot at Washington near 5th street. The suspect who appeared to be intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and a blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. Officers determined the vehicle the suspect had been driving, had been reported stolen from a bar on the 1400 block of north Curtis earlier that evening. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony and had a currently suspended drivers license. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Kaitlyn R. Palacios, 22, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m), Contempt of Court Warrant (F)

    Boise Police observed a vehicle with a modified, extremely loud, muffler Sunday (August 8th) westbound on Overland at approximately 2:30 a.m. Officers stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver who provided false identifying information to police. Officers determined the suspects real identity and a check through Ada County Records indicated a current warrant for her arrest on Contempt of Court charges and that her license was currently suspended. Officers recovered a small amount of Meth in plain view on the center console of the vehicle. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Tina L. Mousner, 39, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn and straddling the center line Sunday (August 8th) traveling North on 5th street at approximately 3:00 a.m. Officers stopped the driver at Idaho and 6th. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .28/.28 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony and was currently suspended from driving. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

 Warrant Arrested: Timothy R. Hamblin, 46, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance Saturday (August 7th).

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the possession of Meth the suspect had on May 6th of this year. On that date, officers conducting a welfare check at a home on the 2000 block of Stewart. Officers determined the suspect was in possession of a small glass pipe and a small amount of Meth. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
