--------

    Arrested: Roger A. Salgado-Romero, 36, Nampa

Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Forgery (F), Providing False Information (m), Probation Violation Charges

Boise Police observed a vehicle westbound on I-84 weaving within its lane and drifting across the white line early this morning (July 14th) at approximately 2:00 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop at I-84 and Cole. The suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .17/.17 at the Ada County Jail. During the investigation the suspect produced a Mexican drivers license with a false identity on it, resulting in the Forgery charge. After determining the suspect's true identity, a check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI, making this charge a felony. Officers also learned the suspect had a current warrant for his arrest. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
