 Arrested: Ember L. Andrews, 26, Boise

  Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Grand Theft by Possession (F), Destruction or Concealment of Evidence (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

  Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Officers, working with information provided by citizen tips, served a search warrant yesterday (July 14th) at  approximately 1:30 p.m. at a residence on the 2000 block of West Camas Street. As officers knocked on the front door of the residence to serve the warrant the suspect threw a set of digital scales with Meth residue out the rear window of the home, resulting in the Concealment of Evidence charge. Officers recovered a small amount of Meth, multiple pipes, a small amount of marijuana and packaging materials. Officers also located a stolen laptop computer resulting in the Grand Theft charge. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Joshua A. Rose, 31, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(F), Felon in Possession of a Firearm (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Fleeing and Evading (m)

    As Boise Police prepared to serve the above listed search warrant  at a residence on the 2000 block of West Camas yesterday (July 14th) at approximately 1:00 p.m. they observed what appeared to be a hand to hand drug transaction in front of the residence. The suspect then immediately left in a vehicle. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect's vehicle near Shoshone and Overland. The suspect vehicle failed to yield to officers lights and siren, sped up and attempted to flee the area. As the suspect was getting close to a busy residential area officers conducted a pit maneuver at approximately 25 miles per hour on Shoshone street, stopping the suspects vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. A search of the vehicle revealed a baggie of narcotic prescription medications, a small amount of Meth, digital scales and packaging materials. Officers also recovered a handgun from the vehicle. A check through Ada County dispatch indicated the suspect is a Felon, resulting in the Felon in Possession of a Firearm charge. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Donald V. Baker, 39, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F)

    Boise Police on patrol last night (July 14th) at approximately 8:00 p.m. observed a vehicle with expired registration and conducted a traffic stop near Fairview and Maple Grove. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed 3 plastic baggies with Meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Michael R. Nelson, 40, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

  Boise Police responded to a collision with injuries yesterday (July 14th) near Capitol and Diploma streets at approximately 11:00 p.m. Evidence indicates the suspect had struck the victim's vehicle head on after crossing the median. The victim was transported to a local hospital with what appeared at the time to be non-life threatening injuries. The suspect had the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person and failed several field sobriety tests at the scene. A blood draw was performed at the hospital for later evidentiary testing. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail after being cleared by the hospital on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Clinton D. Hall, 33, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving Without Privileges (m)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle with expired registration (July 14th) at approximately 6:00 p.m. Officers stopped the driver at Williamsburg and Bergeson. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and a blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had a suspended drivers license. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

 Warrant Arrested: Alicone Brown, 23, Portland Oregon

  Warrant Charges: Grand Theft by Possession (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the theft of cash from a business on the 1500 block of West Grove that took place in January of 2009. Evidence indicates the suspect, who was an employee of the business at the time, entered an office and took approximately $2,000.00 in cash. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
