  Arrested: April C. Nelson, 31, Boise

   Charges:Grand Theft (F), Failure to Purchase a Drivers License (m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police responded to a citizen call of a possible drunk driver yesterday (July 7th) at approximately 7:00 p.m. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in a parking lot at Fairview and Liberty. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed several syringes resulting in the Drug Paraphernalia charge. A check through Ada County Dispatch indicated the suspect did not have a drivers license resulting in the Failure to Purchase charge. Officers also recovered a purse that evidence indicates had been stolen containing credit cards, resulting in the Grand Theft charge. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Geovana P. Guadarrama, 23, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

  Boise Police responded to a report of a collision with injuries at Federal Way and Grand Forest yesterday (July 7th) at approximately 7:00 p.m. During the course of the investigation officers obtained evidence that one of the drivers may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. The suspect failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .31/.31 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for enhanced DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
