  Arrested: Matthew G. Hensley, 28, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Assault (F),

    Boise Police responded to a disturbance yesterday (July 5th) at approximately 11:00 p.m. at a residence on the 6100 block of Castle drive. The victim, an adult male, tells police the suspect, who is well known to him, became aggressive after  an argument. The victim states that at one point, the suspect retrieved a knife from the kitchen and approached him in a threatening manner, making verbal threats to use the knife on him. After a detailed investigation the suspect was arrested without incident. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 -CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS - CHAPTER 9 - ASSAULT AND BATTERY18-905.Aggravated assault defined.An aggravated assault is an assault: (a)  With a deadly weapon or instrument without intent to kill; or (b)  By any means or force likely to produce great bodily harm.

  Arrested: Ramon M. Alberts, 24, Eagle

   Charges: Burglary (F), Probation Violation Charges

    Boise Police responded to a report of a Burglary at a retail outlet on the 400 block of North Milwaukee yesterday (July 5th) at approximately 9:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. When confronted by employees, the suspect ran away on foot. Officers located the suspect in the bushes a short distance from the store and took him into custody. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.

    Arrested: Tyler L. Connor, 52, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle with no tail lights travelling West on Overland last night (July 5th) at approximately 10:30 p.m. Officers stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .25/.25 at the Ada County Jail resulting in the enhanced DUI charge. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had a suspended drivers license. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
