Warrant Arrested: Ryan T. Austin, 24, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

The suspects were taken into custody on outstanding felony warrants for Grand Theft Saturday.

The arrest warrants stem from an ongoing investigation into theft from a retail outlet that took place in January of this year. Evidence indicates that Jamie Austin, who was at the time an employee of a retail store on the 7000 block of West State, was taking cash from a register starting in July of last year, valued in excess of $17,000.00. During the same time period, evidence indicates Jamie Austin allowed Ryan Austin to take several items from the store without ringing up the items for payment. The value of the items taken is estimated to be more than $1,000.00. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
