  Arrested: Stanley D. Hendricks, 60, No Known Address

   Charges:Aggravated Assault (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of an assault early this morning (June 9th) at approximately 1:00 a.m. in the parking lot of a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland. Witnesses tell police the victims entered the parking lot in a vehicle and reportedly drove past the suspect and his friends standing by a van. Witnesses say the subjects standing by the van yelled at the driver of the victims vehicle, saying they drove too close. The victims tell police the suspect then approached them as they exited their vehicle with a knife, swinging it and making stabbing motions. The victim's, an adult and juvenile female, immediately called police and the suspect returned to the van. Officers located the suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, at the van when they arrived. After a detailed investigation, the suspect was taken into custody. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY 18-905.Aggravated assault defined. An aggravated assault is an assault: (a)  With a deadly weapon or instrument without intent to kill; or By any means or force likely to produce great bodily harm.

  Arrested: Robert T. Bearden, 47, Boise

   Charges:Aggravated Assault (F)

    Boise Police on patrol responded to a report of a man threatening a motorist with a crowbar near West Overland and South Roosevelt yesterday (June 8th) at approximately 5:00 p.m. After a detailed investigation, officers determined that the suspect and the victim had been involved in a collision approximately 30 minutes earlier in the area of Rose Hill and Owyhee. The victim,a man in his 80's, tells police he was unaware he had been involved in the collision. The suspect, Robert Bearden, had located the victim as he was stopped at a stop light and approached him with a crowbar. Witnesses tell police the man opened the victims door with the crowbar raised in the air and reached into the vehicle, screaming at the victim. The victim tells police the suspect made verbal threats to beat him. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Pedro Villarreal Jr, 21, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Probation Violation Charges, Failure to Appear warrant

    Boise Police on patrol observed a vehicle with expired registration yesterday (June 8th) at approximately 13:30 p.m. travelling south on 27th and Main. Officers conducted a traffic stop at Main and Garden streets. Ada County dispatch indicated Pedro Villarreal, the passenger in the vehicle, had a current warrant for failure to appear. A search of the suspect revealed a baggie containing 1.5 grams total package weight of Meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Heriberto Lopez Jr, 32, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Probation Violation Charges

    Boise Police, working with Idaho Probation yesterday (June 8th) at approximately 8:00 p.m. conducted a 4th Amendment search of a parolee in a parking lot on the 2000 block of South Broadway. A search of the suspect revealed approximately 1 gram total package weight of Meth on the suspects person. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

 Arrested: Lee A. Estes, 35, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 8300 block of West Overland yesterday (June 8th) at approximately 9:00 a.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.

  Warrant Charges: Injury to a Child (F)

    The suspects were taken into custody on outstanding felony warrant's for Injury to a Child yesterday.

   The arrest warrant's stem from an ongoing investigation into the conditions at a home during a welfare check that took place on March 23rd of this year. Evidence indicates the residence on the 1900 block of North Hampton Road presented a threat of direct and imminent danger of great bodily harm or death to two children living in the residence at the time of the welfare check at the request of Health and Welfare employees. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
