  Arrested: George N. Larsen, 48, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled substance (Prescription Medications)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Open Container of Alcohol in a Vehicle (m)

  Arrested: Justin S. Lyons, 39, No Known Address

   Charges:Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police on patrol early this morning (June 24th) at approximately 12:30 a.m. observed a vehicle perform an illegal lane change and make a wide right turn before failing to maintain its lane. Officers conducted a traffic stop near State and Willow lane. As officers contacted the driver, they observed a glass pipe with residue in plain sight on the center console of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed 2 glass pipes with Meth residue, a plastic baggie containing a small amount of Meth, a container with 10 schedule IV prescription medications and 2 schedule II prescription medications, an open beer in a cup holder and other items of drug paraphernalia. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Dillon D. Hoover, 22, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Battery (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a battery yesterday (June 23rd) at approximately 9:30 a.m. at a group home on the 500 block of South Americana. Multiple witnesses tell police the suspect maneuvered behind an adult female sitting at a table without her knowledge before producing a knife. Witnesses say the suspect then grabbed her hair and jerked it back violently before using the knife to cut off a large portion of her hair in one swift motion. Witnesses then grabbed the suspect and detained him until officers arrived. At this time the reason for the attack is unclear. The suspect and the victim are known to each other. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 18-907.Aggravated battery defined.(1) A person commits aggravated battery who, in committing battery: (a)  Causes great bodily harm, permanent disability or permanent disfigurement; or (b)  Uses a deadly weapon or instrument;

  Arrested: Lauri S. Woehler, 45, Boise

   Charges: Battery on a Police Officer (F), Public Intoxication (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of problem subject yesterday (June 23rd) at approximately 7:00 p.m. at a bar on the 100 block of North 11th street. Officers located the suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time. Employees of the establishment tell police the suspect had been yelling at customers and refused to leave. The suspect was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to a local hospital to be medically cleared for her safety due to her highly intoxicated state. The suspect became uncooperative, yelled and spit on officers and at one point, kicked an officer. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Warrant Arrested: Todd R. Trondson, 43, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the suspects failure to return a SCRAM alcohol monitoring device to Ada County Probation agents. Evidence indicates the suspect has avoided returning the device since May of this year with a value in excess of $2,000.00. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
