  Arrested: Christian A. Crowell, 41, Boise

   Charges:Aggravated Battery (F)

    Boise Police responded to a fight in progress early Saturday Morning (June 19th) at approximately 4:30 a.m. on the 300 block of South 8th street. Witnesses tell police the suspect and the victim exchanged words, before the suspect punched the victim in the face. The victim fell to the ground and struck his head on the pavement, causing head injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital. The cause of the fight is unclear at this time and alcohol may be a factor in this case. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY18-907.Aggravated battery defined.(1) A person commits aggravated battery who, in committing battery: (a)  Causes great bodily harm, permanent disability or permanent disfigurement;

   Charges:Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Failure to Appear warrant charges,

  Citations Issued:  Robert W. Magill Jr, 30, No Known Address

 Citation Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police on patrol early Sunday morning (June 20th) at approximately 2:00 a.m. observed an adult male inside a closed business on the 200 block of North 16th. Officers knew the business closed at 10:30 p.m. Officers verified the business had indeed closed at 10:30 and located Robert W. Magill Jr. inside. Officers smelled the distinctive odor of burnt marijuana and located a small amount of marijuana and a pipe with burnt residue in his pockets. Robert Magill was issued the above listed citations. Officers who searched the business, located Monetta M. Wilson in a bathroom. A check through Ada County Records indicated Monetta Wilson had a current warrant for failure to appear. A search of the suspect revealed two clear baggies with a combined 1 ounce total package weight of Meth, digital scales, a pipe and packaging materials. Monetta Wilson was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
