  Arrested: Kristopher Wayne Olsen, 18, Emmett

   Charges:Burglary (F), Carrying a Concealed weapon (m), Juvenile Consumption of Alcohol (m)

    Boise Police on patrol early Sunday morning (June 6th) at approximately 4:00 a.m. received a report of two suspicious males peering into vehicles near State and Veterans Memorial Parkway. As officers responded to the location, the witness told dispatch the two suspects had run from the area and he had taken chase. Officers located the witness holding Kristopher Olsen and quickly located the second suspect, a 17 year old juvenile male, a short distance away. With the help of witnesses, officers recovered two backpacks that had been discarded by the suspects as they fled. The packs contained stolen items, including a stolen handgun. Officers have  evidence that the items had been stolen from vehicles in the area. During a search of Kristopher Olsen, who had consumed alcohol prior to the incident, officers located a knife in his front pocket resulting in the Concealed Weapon and minor consumption charges. Kristopher Olsen was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges. The juvenile male was cited with  Burglary and Minor Consumption before being released to parental custody.

  Arrested: Angel M. Gonzalez, 20, Boise

   Charges:Possession with intent to deliver (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Driving Without Priviledges (m), Possession of a Counterfeit Government Seal (m), Failure to Appear Warrant

    Boise Police on patrol Friday evening (June 4th) at approximately 9:30 p.m. observed a vehicle driven by the suspect who did not have a valid drivers license. When officers made contact with the driver he attempted to provide false information to police. Ada County dispatch confirmed a current warrant for failure to appear and a search of the suspect revealed less than 1 gram of marijuana concealed in his wallet. A search of the suspect's vehicle revealed 14 grams total package weight of Meth in two plastic baggies. Officers have evidence that the suspect had intended the illegal substance for sale. The suspect also had in his possession a fake "Permanent Resident Card" resulting in the Counterfeit Government Seal charge. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Bryan T. Post, 18, Boise

    Charges:Grand Theft (F)

  Boise Police observed what appeared to be a disturbance between two males and a female Friday (June 4th) at approximately 11:30 a.m. near 13th and River. The adult female appeared to be in distress and officers made contact with all 3 involved individuals. The victims tell police that Bryan Post had stolen the victim's wallet at the library and had witnessed him stuffing it into a bag as he walked away. The victims realized the wallet had been taken and located the suspect. They confronted the suspect and found the wallet in the bag as officers arrived. After a detailed investigation, officers determined the suspect had taken the wallet containing credit and debit cards, resulting in the Grand Theft charge. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Ryan S. Moody, 19, Meridian

   Charges: Issuing Checks Without Funds (F),

    Boise Police responded to a report of fraud Friday (June 4th) at a retail store on the 300 block of North Milwaukee at approximately 5:00 p.m. Employees tell police the suspect had attempted to write a check with insufficient funds. After a detailed investigation, officers determined the suspect had written approximately 30 checks on the account without funds. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
