  Arrested: Travis Ward, 39, Boise

   Charges: Aggravated Assault (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a man with a knife at Ann Morrison Park Sunday (June 27th) at approximately 8:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect had been drinking and began to talk with an adult female acquaintance. The victim tells police that at one point, the suspect became angry with her, produced a knife and made verbal threats. The victim says the suspect chased her through the park making threats. Officers took the suspect into custody without incident as he attempted to leave the scene on foot and the knife was recovered. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18-CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS-CHAPTER 9-ASSAULT AND BATTERY18-905.Aggravated assault defined. An aggravated assault is an assault: (a)  With a deadly weapon or instrument without intent to kill; or (b)  By any means or force likely to produce great bodily harm.

    Arrested: Eddiberto Silvaz, 35, Caldwell

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Leaving the Scene of an Accident (m)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle that had just struck the retaining wall on the outbound connector early Saturday morning (June 26th) at approximately 3:00 a.m. Upon arrival officers saw the suspect had fled the scene by jumping over the retaining wall on the north side of the connector. At that point on the connector there is a drop of about 15 feet. The suspect was then trapped between the connector and a chain link fence where Boise Police found him. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, was transported to a local hospital for treatment his injuries. A blood sample was taken at the hospital for later evidentiary testing. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges after being released by the hospital.

 Arrested: Thomas L. Dudley, 28, Boise

  Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

  Boise Police Gang Detectives and officers with the Ada Metro task force served a search warrant Friday evening (June 25th) at a residence on the 1600 block of Fry street. Officers recovered .4 grams total package weight of Meth and three glass smoking pipes containing residue. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Richard L. Beck, 47, No Known Address

   Charges: Grand Theft (F),

    Boise Police responded to a theft report Sunday (June 27th) at approximately 9:30 p.m. in Ann Morrison Park. The victim tells police she had left her purse in a booth at the park unattended for a few minutes. When she returned she says her purse had been taken by the suspect. Through investigation officers determined the suspect had taken the purse and recovered items believe to have been taken from it. The purse contained financial transaction cards and a camera, that was later recovered by officers. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

 Arrested: Lauren A. King, 18, Boise

  Charges:Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a disturbance Sunday (June 27th) at a residence on the 2500 block of West Williamsport Lane. When officers arrived on location they spoke with the victim who tells police the suspect had entered her residence and taken money when she was not home. Through the course of the investigation, officers obtained evidence that the burglary had taken place on a prior date. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Nichole C. Vanbuskirk, 22, Garden City

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn as it entered the roadway Saturday (June 26th) at approximately 2:00 a.m. Officers observed the vehicle drive across two lanes of traffic and travel east on Main before drifting across the dashed line. Officers stopped the driver at 4th and Main. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .14/.14 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
