  Arrested: John S. Williams, 43, Boise

   Charges:Failure to Register Sex Offender (F)

  Arrested: Jessie L. Jackson, 22, Meridian

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F)

    Boise Police responded to a welfare check on a man passed out in a vehicle on Union street between 8th and 9th yesterday (May 5th) at approximately 11:00 p.m. Through the course of the investigation the suspect, later identified as John Williams, provided false information including his current place of residence. A check through Ada County dispatch confirmed that the suspect had failed to register his change of address as required for registered sex offenders. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    During the investigation into John Williams, officers received information that two children, under the age of 10, may have been left in the care of individuals who were under the influence of illegal drugs, at a residence on the 2800 block of West Stewart. At approximately 1:00 a.m. Boise Police conducted a welfare check at the residence for the safety of the two children. Boise Police recovered a small amount of meth that officers have evidence belonged to Jessie L. Jackson. The two children were turned over to the custody of the Idaho State Department of Health and Welfare. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Joseph M. Flores, 50, Boise

   Charges: Grand Theft  (F),

    Boise Police on patrol on the 4700 block of Holmes street last night (May 5th) at approximately 10:00 p.m. located a stolen vehicle. Officers observed the vehicle travelling East and after verifying the vehicle was stolen with Ada County Dispatch conducted a stop at Holmes and Garden streets. The suspect was taken into custody and the vehicle was recovered without incident. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Wendell D. Rhines, 43, Kuna

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Driving While Suspended (m), Failure to appear warrants

    Boise Police on patrol yesterday evening (May 5th) at approximately 11:00 p.m. observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn, then block 2 lanes of traffic by stopping in the street near Curtis and Overland. Officers who contacted the driver verified through Ada County dispatch that the suspect had multiple warrants for his arrest on Failure to Appear charges. A search of the suspects person revealed a clear plastic bag with residue and a syringe. A Boise Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a plastic bag containing .9 grams of Meth. Records indicated the suspect's license was suspended. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
