    Arrested: Dustin J. Faulkner, 19, No Known Address

    Charges:Fleeing & Evading Police (F), Possession of Stolen Property (F), Leaving the Scene of an Accident (m), Resisting & Obstructing (m),

  Boise Police observed a vehicle run a red light at 13th and Front streets Saturday evening (May 15th) at approximately 9:30 p.m. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle by activating emergency lights, the driver sped up to approximately 65 in a 35 mph zone. The vehicle then jumped a curb almost striking another vehicle. The truck turned West bound onto Idaho street, going in the wrong direction on the one way street. The truck then went North bound in the wrong direction on 12th street, again driving into oncoming traffic in the wrong direction. The suspect vehicle then attempted to turn into an alley and skidded out of control striking a building on the 200 block of North 12th street. When the vehicle came to a stop, the driver, later identified as Dustin Faulkner, exited the vehicle and began to run. With the help of citizens who pointed out the direction of travel, officers located him minutes later and took Faulkner into custody. A check through Ada County Records indicated the vehicle, a pickup truck, was listed as stolen from the Lewiston area. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Johnny M. Ybarra, 54, No Known Address

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F)

    Boise Police responded to a citizen call of a passed out suspect behind a convenience store on the 400 block of South Roosevelt Street Sunday evening (May 16th) at approximately 6:15 p.m. Officers located the suspect unconscious and slumped against the building. The suspect appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance and a Boise Police K-9 alerted on his person, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search revealed approximately 1 gram total package weight of meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Lona D. Shue, 31, Caldwell

    Charges:Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle travelling the wrong way on a one way street at 16th & State early Saturday morning (May 15th) just after midnight. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .17/.17 at the Ada County Jail. Officers located a glass pipe in plain sight next to the door. A search of the vehicle revealed more paraphernalia and a small amount of Meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Robert W. Sanders, 29, Boise

   Charges:Weapon, Unlawful Possession by a Convicted Felon (F), Carrying a Concealed Weapon without a Permit (m)

    Boise Police responded to a citizen call of suspicious activity Saturday morning (May 15th) just after midnight on the 800 block of South Curtis. Officers located two suspects who matched the description provided by witnesses and made contact with them. One suspect, later identified as Robert Sanders, was found to be carrying a concealed knife on his person. A Boise Police K-9 hit on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a handgun with ammunition that officers determined belonged to Sanders. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Shawn D. Bjorner, 32, Nampa

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Driving Without Privileges (DWP)(m)

  Boise Police observed a vehicle perform an illegal lane change Sunday (May 16th) at approximately 3:20 a.m. Officers stopped the driver at Idaho and North 11th street and contacted the driver. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .17/.17 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

  Arrested: Davion C. Trask, 18, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police received a report of a vehicle burglary Friday (May 14th) from a parking lot on the 600 block of West Cassia street. Victims tell police the suspect took cash from the car. After a detailed investigation officers determined the suspect had been responsible for the theft. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

  Warrant Arrested: Leigh A. Mumme, 27, Boise

  Warrant Charges: Burglary (F)

    The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary today.

   The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a shoplifting case that took place on March 5th of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in removing security devices from merchandise before stealing products from a retail store on the 8000 block of West Franklin. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.


   The Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal of the BPD Organized Retail Crime Unit is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.
