A Boise Police Detective responded to a traffic collision at Anna and Curtis yesterday (March 31st) at approximately 1:00 p.m. Officers observed that one of the drivers, later identified as Anthony Collings, appeared to be very intoxicated.    Charges:Assault on a Police Officer (F), Receiving Stolen Property (m) Citation issued for open container (m)

Boise Police responded to a citizen call of a man sleeping in a stairwell at an apartment complex on the 1000 block of North 9th yesterday (March 31st) at approximately 2:30 p.m. Officers located the suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time and determined the man did not live in the area. Officers noted the suspect had an open container of alcohol with him and acted in an aggressive manner, cursing and threatening officers. At one point the suspect lunged at officers resulting in the Assault charge. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

----------

Warrant Arrested: Devin K. Weaver, 22, Boise

   Warrant Charges:Aggravated Battery (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Battery yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a battery that took place outside a bar on the 600 block of West Main in December of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect punched the victim several times in the face causing a broken nose and lacerations to the face. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
