Boise Police patrol officers responded to a citizens call of suspicious activity, including the sound of loud banging early this morning at approx 1:22 a.m. near the intersection of Gem Street and Vista Ave. Officers found the suspect and a 17 year old male sitting in a car. They also saw a safe sitting on a canal bank nearby.

Officers found the teenager in possession of a baggie of marijuana. Upon further investigation, officers found evidence the suspect Snowden and the teenager had just stolen the safe from the home of an acquaintance.
