   Arrested: Semir Muratovic, 18, Boise

   Charges:Rape (F)

    Boise Police arrested the suspect yesterday (April 14th) after a detailed investigation into allegations of rape that reportedly took place on April 2nd of this year. On that date, a Boise police officer stopped to check on a suspicious vehicle in Winstead Park at approximately 1:00 a.m. The officer discovered the suspect, a 16 year old juvenile male and the victim, who is a juvenile female under the age of 14, in various stages of undress. The victim tells police the two males, who are known to her, raped her in the vehicle. Detectives conducted a detailed investigation into the incident. Officers have no reason at this time to believe other victims are involved. Yesterday detectives concluded their investigation and arrested the suspect at a home on the 100 block of North Avenger lane in Boise. The suspect was booked into the Ada County jail on the above listed charges. The juvenile suspect is in custody and will face similar charges. Further inquires into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorneys Office.

   Arrested: Adam D. Weinert, 21, Boise

   Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Heroin)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police on patrol Monday evening (April 12th) at approximately 10:00 p.m. observed a vehicle make several lane changes without signaling as it darted in and out of traffic and conducted a traffic stop near 8th and Front. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of Heroin and a syringe with residue in the vehicle. The suspect was released at the time, pending further evidentiary testing. The investigation was completed and the suspect was located yesterday when he was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

    Arrested: Bobbie L. Murray, 24, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F), Failure to purchase drivers license (m)

    Boise Police conducted a traffic stop last night (April 14th) at approximately 9:30 p.m. at State and Veterans Memorial Parkway. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .19/.20 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: Jessica M. Leggate, 21, Santee Ca.

   Charges:Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 300 block of North Milwaukee yesterday (April 14th) at approximately 2:30 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal items and then leave the store without paying for them. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The goal is to work with retailers to reduce theft and fraud, crimes that can impact consumer prices.
