-----------

Arrested: Jesse D. Pero, 19, Nampa

    Charges:Delivery of a Controlled substance (Psilocybin Mushrooms)(F)

Boise Police Gang Detectives and Patrol officers witnessed what appeared to be a drug buy in a parking lot at Curtis and Overland early Saturday morning (April 17th) at approximately 1:30 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a baggie containing approximately 2 oz of Psilocybin Mushrooms. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Arrested: Tyler L. Conner, 52, Boise

    Charges:Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

Boise Police observed a vehicle fail to stop as it entered the roadway Saturday evening (April 17th) at approximately 9:00 p.m. at Bannock and 26th streets. The vehicle attempted to turn onto 27th street northbound and almost struck northbound vehicles before coming to a stop in the roadway blocking traffic southbound. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .20/.23 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County records indicated the suspect had 2 prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

-----------

Warrant Arrested: Walter O. Clayton Jr, 43, Boise

Warrant Charges:Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)

The suspect was taken into custody on outstanding felony warrants for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance Saturday.

The arrest warrants stem from incidents that took place last year in Boise. During the service of a search warrant at a home in October of last year, officers located a pipe containing meth residue that officers have evidence belongs to the suspect, resulting in the Possession of a controlled substance charge. On November 11th of last year officers located 1/16th of an ounce of Meth in the suspect's vehicle during a traffic stop. Officers have evidence that the suspect had been involved in selling the illegal substance resulting in the delivery of a controlled substance charge. The results of those two investigations were forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrants.

-----------

Warrant Arrested: Joanne E. Taylor, 48, Boise

Warrant Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)(F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance Friday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an envelope containing .1 grams of cocaine delivered through the mail that arrived at a  downtown business in Boise. Employees of the business contacted police. Officers have evidence that envelope had been sent by the suspect and been accidentally delivered to the business resulting in the Possession charge. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
