Arrested: Craig D. Saddler, 36, New Meadows

Charges:Possession of a Controlled substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m), Parole Violation Charges

Boise Police responded to a citizen call of suspicious behavior on the 2700 block of Hillsboro Place yesterday (April 22nd) at approximately 6:00 p.m. A citizen called dispatch to report that a shirtless man was sitting in a vehicle staring into the windows of the persons home. At one point, witnesses say the man got out of the vehicle and began flexing his muscles while talking to himself. Responding officers located a vehicle matching the description still at the location and contacted the driver. Officers noted the suspect appeared to be under the influence of some kind of drug, breathing heavily and had pinpointed pupils. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect was currently on probation. As officers talked to the suspect, a veteran Boise Police K-9 "Vigo", alerted on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed a baggie containing a small amount of Meth and other items of drug paraphernalia. Due to the suspects erratic behavior, pinpointed pupils and the presence of drugs he was transported to a local hospital for his safety to be checked out. After being cleared by medical personnel the suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
