04-13-10 Arrest in Gun Theft; overnight felony arrest
Boise, April 13, 2010 - Boise Police arrested a
man last night accused of stealing a rifle and a shotgun and
pawning the guns for cash. Detectives have evidence the
suspect may have committed the theft for drug money.
Arrested: Ryan R. Moore, 22, Boise
Charges: Grand Theft (F) - 2 cts
Boise Police received a report Monday, April 12th
from the victim that a rifle and a shotgun had been stolen from the
victim's home. The theft occurred late last week. The victim
and suspect are well known to each other. After contacted the
suspect, he agreed to turn himself into Boise Police. He was
questioned by detectives and taken to the Ada County Jail and
booked on the above charges. Detectives were able to recover the
stolen shotgun, however they have not yet recovered the stolen
rifle. The rifle has been entered into a national crime information
computer as a stolen weapon.
Arrest: Jerome L. Edwards, 27, Boise
Charge: Issuing Checks with Insufficient
Boise Police were called to a local business
after the business learned a check had been written on a closed
account. The amount of the check was more than $1,900.
Boise Police turned the investigation report over to Ada
County prosecutors who issued a warrant for the suspects arrest on
the above charge.
